| Pai Gow Poker is an American invention using the ancient Chinese tile game coupled with the American card game. Played with a 53-card deck including a Joker, a roll of the dice determines who gets the first hand. Each player is then dealt a set of seven cards. Cards are arranged into five-card and two-card Poker hands. The rankings of the five-card hand are the same as regular Poker. The two-card hand can be a pair or two individual cards. The highest two-card hand is a pair of aces and the lowest is a 2 -3. After all hands are set, the dealer's cards are set and it's time to compare. If you win both hands, you get paid, If you lose both, you lose your bet. If you win one hand and lose one hand, it's a tie and you get your money back. The game is house-banked but you have the option, in turn, to bank yourself. |
